Oh God, it´s a Boy!
The “MAX” is a new, minimalist camper by Kuckoo Camper, designed to be simple and functional. It features a spacious interior, an outdoor kitchen, and is easy to tow without needing a special license. The modular design allows for customization, and it will be available in Spring 2025. Reservations are now open.
Allow me to introduce myself: Max!
With Max we have developed and built a completely new mini camper, even if only at second glance. The most important details have been retained, however.
- Size of 4.3 × 2 × 2 m
- Extendable outdoor kitchen that can also be used inside
- Large interior with lots of storage options
- 3 windows with blackout blinds and insect protection
- Squaredrup shape that offers plenty of space inside and a protected space in front of the car
- Low weight – therefore no trailer license required
But since standing still means going backwards, there is now the Nordic brother Max. It is designed so that you won’t have any problems with it. For us, just going means: no frills – just traveling! If you don’t have gas, water or expensive electricity on board, nothing can break. That’s why we put emphasis on selected, high-quality materials when building it.
- Outer walls made of high-quality GRP sandwich panels
- Edge reinforcement made of powder-coated aluminum
- Tinted acrylic glass windows
- Doors and flaps made in Germany
- Modular interior structure
- Basic equipment with textile bags possible (airline rails)
- Also available empty without interior equipment (self-construction)
- Available from spring 2025
We will start producing the first series vehicles in August and are now accepting reservations.

Wir suchen Händler!
We are looking for dealers!
Who are we looking for?
Creative van builders, small, friendly motorhome dealers, car dealerships (off-road), car dealerships with camping experience, roof tent dealers. Above all, you have to fit in with us and have the same love for our campers. We don’t see our little squaredrops between large caravans or on random farms just to sell them. A Kuckoo camper should always remain something special.
What’s new?
Max, the Nordic brother of Bruno
Low-maintenance and low-wear vehicle
Vehicles can be converted yourself
Modular conversion
More and more people are going back to basic travel and primarily enjoying nature. We’ll show you how to properly showcase the little squaredrop and give you the right arguments.
Max should definitely get a nice place, ideally in a showroom where he can be shown in a camping situation. An awning, carpet, table and chairs and other decorations are definitely part of it. You should also have a workshop and be able to carry out customer services, maintenance, repairs and leak tests directly on site.
We have something very special for van builders: Build your own Max. Thanks to the straight-line design, you can design and build your own “Sprinter room” with Max. You can get an empty Max from us and either build it completely in your style or you can get digital construction plans for our furniture from us.
Are you a specialist in the caravan / motorhome sector? Our Emil is in good hands with you too. Mini caravans are just starting to become popular in the camping sector.
The Max in the car dealership. To be honest, our Emil looks best on an off-roader or SUV. But he is also an absolute talent on small cars or electric vehicles. Thanks to his low weight of around 450 kg, he can be towed by almost any vehicle and even without a trailer license.
Max as an extension, addition to the roof tent. During Corona, sales of roof tents rose steadily. Many roof tent users love the freedom of their roof sleeping space, but have also recognized the disadvantages: bad weather, living out of pocket, constantly having to assemble and disassemble. Or a child has come along and the space is tight. This is where Max is the next level. Either with an integrated pop-up roof or with a roof tent attached, 4 people can travel comfortably.
